i know some people say dont do it but i want to do it anyways

Overclocking a laptop is a BAD idea. Laptops lack just about everything that is needed for safe and effective overclocking. It may be possible to do it but the results are rarely satisfactory and the risks high.

Your laptop is outdated anyway. Have you ever added more RAM? If it still has 512MB, that's your problem. No amount of overclocking can make up for lack of RAM. Your laptop can't be overclocked anyway, if you knew anything about overclocking, OEM systems or laptops in general, you would know that. It's time for a new laptop.
