Do you mean "set the BIOS" or "REset the BIOS"?

I meant set after replacing a CPU but I have since talked with HP and they said I didn't need to. Do you know how to remove this question from the forum ?

I don't know what you mean by "set"? A normal BIOS has dozens of settings that should be configured for best performance. Many people just select "load defaults" & leave it at that, but that is NOT the best way to go. Tweakers know that defaults do NOT provide the best performance, so they manually configure their BIOS settings. There's very little you can do with an HP BIOS though. The BIOS is deliberately designed to be "barebones" to prevent people from mucking up their settings then flooding HP support with BIOS related calls.

BTW, I believe the correct model number is MCP61PM-HM.
