"how do i disable graphics on intels core i processors"

The processor has nothing to do with enabling or disabling the graphics. Usually integrated video is disabled in the motherboard BIOS menu but there may be several settings that need to be changed - enable/disable, shared memory, intial display. Some boards auto-disable the integrated video when a card is detected. Every board is different. Your manual should explain how it's done.

"what core i processors are compatible with XP"

I believe all of them are.

thanks..
So you are saying the integrated graphics on the i core or core i (whatever) processors are basically the same as if the graphics were integrated on the motherboard?? I understand that you can disable integrated graphics thru the BIOS if the graphics were on the mobo but these are integrated in the cpu's. Is the principle the same?? INTELs web site does not give any info on this.

Processors with integrated graphics haven't been released yet & won't be released until sometime next year.

Not true, see "ships today" below (the 6xx series i5's plus all of the i3's):

and:

and they have been available for months now.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
