help overclocking core 2 duo e4600

Specs: Windows Vista Enterprise, SP 2
Hello, i have a intel core 2 duo E4600 @ 2.4 GHz
4 gb of DDR2 ram, freq - 399 MHz,
FSB:DRAM - 1:2

the motherboard is stock what came with the computer(model # - 0GM819). I was wondering if this set up is possible to overclock and if so what can be done. If i left out any info you need please let me know. Thanks

This is a Dell? If so, there are probably no BIOS options to allow overclocking.

OEM systems generally use components that do not stand up well to the stresses of overclocking. The BIOS is locked to keep these stresses within tolerances and reduces warranty claims.

Overclocking requires premium quality components which OEM's cannot afford and still remain competitive.

Man you got a BTX system, you can't even upgrade to another motherboard if you wanted to considering your case is BTX too. You would have to buy a ATX motherboard and a ATX case ontop of that.

good CPU to OC, but Dell bios's dont support OCing.

PowerMac 9600(1 ghz G4)
512mb RAM
50gb SCSI
ATi 9200 PCI

ok so as it is i cannot overclock my cpu, what would i have to change so that i can? just a different motherboard and case?
