Firefox plug-in causing HIGH CPU usage

December 1, 2010 at 06:29:25
Specs: Windows 7
I took a look in my task manager and found that I'm using a lot (100%) of CPU usage.
It particularly happens on a rich, shiny site that I frequent. Firefox runs over 200K memory, but the CPU drops after the page loads. Then I notice A Firefox plug-in 1.9.2.3951 is running low memory, but the CPU # is always between 79 & 83.
Ant suggestions?

200K is next to nothing. Which process is hogging the CPU?

I wish I could attach an image. I went to the site& took a screen shot of task manager & found that the plug-in I mentioned is only running while I'm on that site. It's the one hogging up all of the CPU. Type of file: Application (.exe)
Description: Container for Firefox.
Performance : CPU Usage = 100%

Google the name of the Plug-in and see what comes up. You can always disable any plug in within Firefox.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
