Having a quad may or may not be useful. It depends on what you do with your system. Unfortunately, you have a crappy HP OEM motherboard that doesn't allow overclocking, otherwise I would have suggested that you simply crank up the Athlon II X2 215. Before selecting a CPU, you need to determine which ones are supported by your board & if a BIOS update will be necessary. A Black Edition CPU is wasted on that board since it can't be overclocked. Hopefully you understand that changing the CPU will do little to improve gaming (if that's your intention). You would need to install a gaming graphics card & possibly upgrade the power supply to make your system game-able.
