cpu/psu voltage set to high..shuts

Specs: Windows XP, amd atlon xp 2800+/2 512mb ram
i have an amd athlon xp 2800+ with a biostar m7ncg 400 motherboard and my bro stupidly chanced the psu or cpu voltage to 2.0 volts when its only saposta run at 1.75 now it just s---s down protecting the hardware....butn ow i reseit bios and i still get the same thing????any suggestions???anything will help please lemme know im on a 1.0 ghs cpu right now with 128 i cant deal with it....please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did he go into the BIOS & play with the settings, then save them? That's the only way to jack up the CPU voltage. I don't know what you mean by "chanced the psu"?

The 2800+ runs at 1.65v, not 1.75v. If the voltage was increased to 2.0v, he may have damaged the CPU.

EDIT: I just had a look at the BIOS chapter for your board & unless I missed, I didn't see any way to change the CPU voltage.
