I know just enough about overclocking to burn up my system, With that said. Does anybody know of a good stright forward, simple terms guide to overclocking for beginners I have a m4a78t-e mobo, phenom 2 x 4 cpu crossfired saphire hd 5750 graphics, corsair H 40 liquid cooler, core speed 3010.37 bus speed 200.7
i've seen a lot of cpu's fry with the vcore pushed too far. matter of fact one of my friends just fried his 2600k because he pushed it to the brink even though he was told not to he did it anyhow and set his settings to 1.46 trying to push his 2600k to 5ghz and he ended up frying it, the cpu was dead. if you push it up far enough it can't fry your cpu. You can see a lot of examples of that just by googling the mistakes people have made when they set their vcore too high on their cpu's.
Burn em up and Burn em out are just expression, Ive used for 50 years or so ,You know,, like geek, nerd, wedgie boy my thing is if you cant see past imperfections and give sombody help you are just ,same as above IT IS WHAT IT IS
