"please re-enter settings in the cmos setup and remember to save before quit"

Seems pretty self explanatory, or don't you know how to access CMOS Setup? If you have a retail board, it's usually the Del key at bootup. If you have an OEM system, it can be any of a number of keys - Esc, Tab, F1, F2, F10, etc. It usually says on the screen when you 1st bootup.

If this happens all of the time, even after resetting everything, your CMOS battery needs replacing. That is the 'coin' battery on your motherboard, usually nearly the size of a quarter. This happens on older motherboards, especially ones that may have been unplugged/unused for quite a while.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
