Solved CPU cooler works faster

December 10, 2011 at 11:33:02
Specs: Windows XP, Athlon 3000, guess
I just sat now and heard how he started to work faster.
It's the sound, like a small F1 machine.
I don't know, what is it, but it may be dangerous.
I cleaned him 4-5 weeks ago, he starts again.
Is it bad, how to stop it if it's bad?

The more the computer is doing the faster the fan goes. It's normal.

Check your internal temperatures. Install Speedfan or similar and report back on your temps. If they are high, it may be the reason your fan is speeding up. If it is not high, then it is probably normal.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
