Are the AMD REGOR cores discontinued?

Specs: Windows 7, phenom II x 4 970 / 8gb ddr3
i recently bought an athlon dual core 3.2ghz for a new build. On newegg i saw a 3.4ghz model and it said sold out and deactivated. Actually, I would like to buy an athlon dual core rated at 3.5ghz. they are out, but rebranded as phenom II 521, appearing in an HP model sold at walmart. i dont know how they can call it a phenom because it has no L3 cache. Nevertheless, i would like a regor core rated at 3.5ghz for at least one of my computers. I wonder if they would ever produce an athlon quad core at 3.5ghz? Does anyone have a clue where they are headed?

BTW: since buying a regor, i'm learning the art of manual overclocking, and from what i see, they are actually better, core for core, than the phenom.

No athlon II run at 3.4ghz, phenom II x4 965 runs at that speed.

phenom II 521

Regor From Wikipedia
The Regor architecture is very similar to the Phenom II Deneb. However, it is a native dual-core die design without L3-Cache and with doubled L2-Cache.
