Solved AMD Athlon II X2 215 pin chart?

September 14, 2013 at 09:36:19
Specs: Windows 7, Amd Athlon II x2
I was trying to get the processor off the heat sink, and in the process i bent a bunch of pins and broke one off. If i had a chart of what the pins do i could see if the one that is broken is not necessary for it to run. I would then bend the other pins back. Otherwise i will buy a different one.

Thanks

CPU pin damage is not repairable - no way.

You don't have many choices. Straighten the remaining pins and plug the sucker in to see if it works minus the broken pin. If not, go shopping.

I've heard you can ruin a motherboard doing that... is that true?

Thanks for the Help! I just decided to buy a different one off of ebay! It would have taken a while to straighten all the bent pins and it probably wont even work, so i just bought a different one.
