Specs: Sega Genesis, 1 ghz ram
hello there! i have a slight problem with my sega genesis console. two or three actually. the first one is that when i try to unplug/plug in a controller, the console freezes up completely, even the sound freezes up! sometimes, i cant even reset it! anyone know what is going on with my genesis? the second problem is kind of weird, because if i shake the console like a madman, the game almost crashes, but when i tap the cartridge even the slightest bit, the console completely screws itself over. what is the point of that? i shaked it at every angle, got into every nook and cranny of the shaking process, yet when i accidentally bump the cartridge,

i shook it after the problems started happening. i wanted to test the theory that the cart was not staying in the slot properly. and besides, even though i said i shook it like a madman, i actually shook it gently. NOT LIKE A MADMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the controller being unplugged actually does freeze up the console. thank you for your understanding! P.S. also, if i leave the console idling without operation for over a minute, then the console freezes up too. except you can't reset it, you have to pull the cart out, then put it back in carefully before it will work again.
