We do not help with phone unblocking. If you want to be able to use it on any network you need to contact your current network provider or take it to an independent mobile phone shop who have unlocking equipment.

Unlocking a phone to use a different SIM card than the one it came with is perfectly legal. At least it is in the UK. May be different in the US.

Try some of these web sites.

If you dont feel confident enough to do it yourself, most phone shops will do it for a small fee.

You can buy an unlock code for your phone on ebay, for cheap. Search ebay for your phone and unlock code.

Also, if this is your phone and you are off contract with ATT then you can request a unlock code from them yourself.

This is what happens when you get your phone from your provider. They make a deal with the manufacturor to "lock" your phone up, so it will only work with thier service. If you buy your phone elsewhere (same kind of phone), it will work with any provider that is compatable with it's technology. And on that note, my next phone will be a Phecda, which works for both GSM and CDMA services, and is multiband, so I can use it with any carrier (or combination of carriers) I want to.

I'm a toxic agent, on a dangerous mission so secret, that even I don't know what it is, because if I did, I would have to kill myself.
