Trouble Entering Text On Websites - Droid 3

Specs: Android, AMD QL-65/3 Gb
On occasion, I run into an issue where I can not see the text that I am entering into a website text box on my Droid 3.

When I am making a long entry, like perhaps posting in a forum such as this, I get to a point where the text box will no longer scroll and I can not see the additional text that I am typing.

The text that I can see seems to "jump" like it wants to scroll up, but the same last line always stays at the bottom of the text box so I can't see what I've typed below that.

If I use the arrows the position the cursor, I can sometimes scroll the screen to the bottom of my entry, but as soon as I enter the next character, the screen jumps back to the point where the problem first appeared and stays there as I am typing.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks!

Android version ? 2.2 ? 2.3 ? have you undertaken all available updates from Motorola ?

Web Browser ? have you tried an alternative ?

Android version 2.3.4

"Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time."

Default Browser version 2.3.4

Do you have a suggestion for a better browser - and why?

Thanks!

The web page may be written biased towards a certain web browser, usually Internet Explorer, therefore it may display differently on Android Mobile Browser:

This response is being sent from my Droid 3 using Opera Mobile.

I'm going to make this a long post because I'm curious to see what happens when I reach the bottom of the text input field.

hmmm. It seems as if the text field scrolls upwards so that I'll never really reach the bottom like I did when using the default browser on the device. Oh wait, I've reached the bottom but things still seem OK since I can see the last line fully and see what I am typing.

Obviously I'll have to wait until I try a few other sites but this seems like a long enough post and so far I'm not running into any problems at the bottom of the text entry field.

Thanks for your help and I'll (try to) remember to let you know how things work out as I try more sites.
