I have an Xperia Z2 tablet and on it I use a Rapoo E6500 Blue-tooth keyboard and the combination is just fantastic however when I start the tablet everything is fine until I turn the keyboard on and at this time the calender opens and I need to access the "Start: screen to turn it off. If I leave the tablet formore than it's auto turn off time (1 minute) when I return I naturally have to turn it back on and the first thing that appears is the calendar. If I am referring to notes and return to my project the same thin happens. I could extend the "switch-off" time but this is inconvenient.

How can I prevent this?

I think it's a recent system update that's doing that because my Xperia does the same thing on the Home screen, only started doing that since the last system update. I've been all over the options and settings, as well as settings within the calendar app to try and get rid of it but no luck.

Thank you Phil you describe my experience exactly. I have explored every avenue within the system with no result, I guess I just put up with it!

My other pet gripe is the fact that it is impossible to write to the external micro sdcard other than that it is a great tablet.

Thanks and regards
