Does anyone know how to find the MAC address of a Dell Venue 8 tablet? I looked in Settings but could not locate it. I use MAC filtering for my wireless network and I want to add the tablet's MAC address to the list. Thanks.

On Android 5 you go to WiFi settings, tap on the three vertical dots icon (upper right) and select "Advanced". It may be the same, or similar, on Android 4.

I found it in Settings. Scroll all the way to the bottom to the System category and tap on About tablet, then tap on Status. The MAC address is listed there. My tablet is running Android KitKat 4.4.

I have another question; I set up email on the tablet to access my POP3 account. I have a lot of emails so the tablet just loaded a few from the last couple days. There is a progress circle at the bottom indicating there is more to load...a lot more! My question is this: if I let it load all the emails, will this take up my tablets storage? The tablet comes with 16GB of data storage. Should I delete some emails from my POP3 account so that it doesn't have to load as much or is that not necessary?

Unless emails come with large attachments, or embedded meia, they use very little storage space. I'd just download all of it and you can later delete individual messages if space is a problem.

Thanks for your response. I'm going to check how much space I'm currently using on the web mail server. I still might delete some messages if it's more than a certain amount.

I just checked my web mail server; I am using 18% of 2048 MB. So, that means I'm only using about 370 MB. What do you think?
