Cannot get my email going in a new cellphone. This is the scenario. Bought a new Huawei Pro 30 Lite but is unable to get my email going. Reasons given are: username or passwordwrong(old excuse) OR POP3/IMAP disabled. I went through the whole process from username, password, incoming server, security, etc. but get the same result everytime. Anybody with ideas please. When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Have you checked with your email account provider to confirm the correct server settings etc.? They all have online details on their web pages. And are you trying for IMAP or POP3?
Hi T yes I called them and went through the settings but they informed me that they can't help me with regard to cellphones, only computers. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Only POP 3 although we tested on both. When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Hi Mike. thanks fr the article. Fortunately I bought the Pro 30 and Google seems to be working just fine. Back to my original problem or kinda. On my email account I have 2 emails operating with exactly the same settings and password. What I found now, and this had been the problem on my cellphone as well, is that on the one email I can access it using the Master Account password but on my default one, it does not accept it. Here I need some expert guidance please. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
