Specs: Windows 7
I've tried everything! Reseting my router, hard reset on my Fire, factory reset on my Fire, changing passwords, everything. Any ideas?

Thanks! I've read that, and I wish it had worked. Last time I called Amazon, they sent me a new Kindle. Then it happened again. Is there a chance it could be a virus? That's my fear, although I charge my iphone on it everyday and it works fine. IDK? I'm so frustrated! But thanks for responding! :-)

For many reasons a virus on a Kindle Fire is most unlikely.

One very simple thing you could try, if you haven't already, is to turn your router off (or disconnect from power) then leave it half a minute and put it on again. Wait a minute or so for it to fully restart then try your Kindle again.

Assuming that doesn't help, if the replacement Kindle did the trick before then maybe lighting has struck twice. If you can get them to send another then do so but otherwise watch out for other ideas on here.

Thanks! The problem started when my internet co took away our router bc it was faulty. Then they turned on the router within our modem. It has been a weak signal ever since. I've tried turning it off numerous times. I even upgraded my internet to make it faster. Nothing works! I just bought my own router on ebay to see if that works. But it's not here yet. Hopefully that will work. Thanks for troubleshooting with me! :-)

What finally worked was buying my own router. Then the signal was strong enough to register the wifi on my Kindle Fire. Thanks for the help! :-)
