What model of TV do you have? If it's a smart TV with Bluetooth you could connect your tablet that way.

I don't think it smart TV. I have tried e cast crome, but I get lot of lag and out of cinc when watching amsazon prime video. So I am going for a wired connection. I've just ordersCSL - 4m MHL adapter cable for Samsung S2, HTC One, Sony Xperia, LG | MicroUSB to HDMI | 5-pin | Mobile high definition / Full HD | Image + sound transmission I will let you know how l get on.

If it looks something like this you are on the right track:

Is this the part you ordered?:

If it is I'm not sure that's the correct part for you. That cable is a micro-USB / USB to HDMI adaptor. These are typically for tablets and phones with only a micro-USB port.

Does your PC have this port?:

The third port from the left is a Micro-HDMI port. This is what you would typically use to transmit the image and audio to an alternative compatible screen such as a TV with HDMI inputs.

Your TV will need HDMI inputs such as these:

They can be found on the side or back or both the side and back of your TV.

As mentioned in my previous post (#3) the part you need is a Micro-HDMI to HDMI cable.

The cable I ordered was the tight one to fit my tablet, it has a mlcro USB but it still would not work as the TV kept saying no signal. I whent to PC world and they tried connecting to there TV ,with my cable and there own cable and got the same no signal responce . they reckon the tablet does not have mirrowing.

You shouldn't need mirroring to send the signal from the Micro-HDMI port to your TV. You do however need to tell the tablet which output you are sending the signal through (as with most PC's with an extra display port).

Is the link to the picture in post #5 of a Micro-HDMI port match your tablet?

Hi Ray. That's unfortunate. I was looking at the pro model of your yoga.

The Chromecast? dongle would have been your best bet but dropouts are making it impossible to enjoy. Their performance is highly dependant on your network strength and although your tablet is detecting the dongle if the wireless signal to it isn't the best you will experience dropouts. How far is the television set from your wireless router? Does Chromecast show a decent signal strength? One solution might be to move your wireless router closer to the TV.

Another idea would be to have your media files in shared folders on your tablet and accessing them with the smart TV's wireless (if available) directly. I'm not sure if this is possible or even ideal if you're viewing content is streamed from the Internet.

Also Beachy has suggested Bluetooth as a streaming option, have you looked into this?

One last thing to take into consideration is the definition standard of the media you wish to stream. High definition files can struggle over a wireless connection.
