Solved Andorid Space Issues with Updating

Specs: Android 9
I can not update programs. Is that always the case???

I have moved all possible programs to the SD card (most games or programs will not work off the SD card so have to move them back when needed). After using the free AVG Cleaner, there is 808M free of 16G internal space [8G just the OS and stock software that is un-removeable]) and about 9G free of 30G on the SD card. The only thing internally taking up space are the OS and applications' data (no music, videos, pictures, etc). So trying to update a game of 20M or 800k fails because "insufficient storage." The only way I can overcome this is removing the programs I am trying to update. Hard enough I have to constantly move programs back and forth each time just to use because they will not work off the SD card, and there is "not enough space" for all the programs internally. There is nothing on this device that is not needed or used (that is not stock and not removeable that is). So I can not just go uninstalling things if they are the very things I am trying to update.

This device is not rooted.

I have read many things about uninstalling unused stuff (duh), cleaning cache (duh X2), rooting, uninstalling Play Store (done that in the past on another phone, bad idea, caused more problems). Wanted to see for some fresh ideas.

I just finally have given up on trying work arounds for months and wanted some outside ideas.

Any tips or tricks that are current that may work? Thanks.

Here's some more "duh" recommendations from the Droid Guy website:

* Delete unnecessary text messages and picture messages
* Transfer pictures and media to a computer to remove them from the phone memory
* Clear the browser cache, cookies, or history
* Clear Facebook app cache
* Delete call logs

✔ Best Answer
* Delete unnecessary text messages and picture messages
There are very few and those are always deleted too

* Transfer pictures and media to a computer to remove them from the phone memory
Nothing personal like that is on internal memory.

* Clear the browser cache, cookies, or history
Every time, and the browser hardly used (this device is not used daily like other people use it).

* Clear Facebook app cache
No such program exists. No social media junk at all.

* Delete call logs
Very few exists, and already done.

I even uninstalled two games and still running out of space. And I do not know why. Nothing is being added or updated (obviously).
