Wasn't quite sure where this belonged but here it is.
Found this older version of Acronis True Image - 7.0- being offered for FREE so grab it while you can if you don't have imaging software. I already have version 9.0 and it works great. Let me know how you like it!.

Thanks for the head up, murr.

I'll grab it even though I have version 8. Did you know they just released Version 10?

Tried the vers. 7.0 link but it took me to a registration page with no means (that I could see) to D/L TI 7.0. I registered but no way to D/L (???).

Can anyone help?

Bob

I haven't tried it but my understanding is you will be sent an activation code and a download link.

Okay, just did it.

You will receive an email and in it, click the verification link. You will see a password and enter it and the email address you used in the upper right side. Then click 'My Account'. You should see it listed and click on the '+' and a box will drop down and select 'Get Update'. I now have downloaded it sucessfully.

Does anybody know if the manual and instructions are included, and does it work as good as Drive Image (not Symetec) but the Powerquest? and will this version be ok for XPSP2.

Do you mean the trial download of Acronis Privacy Expert? Otherwise, I don't see any freebies.

Regardless, thanks for the link on the imaging software.
