I had printing problems with my Lexmark which might be of the same character. In order to solve this, i changed the spool settings and the problem was solved. Of course i don't know whether this will solve your problems.
Go to the printers-folder, right click your printer, choose Properties. Choose the Details-tab and the button Spool settings. Change the spool data format into RAW, or if there are more options, just try them all.

Again, i dont know if this will work for you. Also chech if your printer driver is up to date. If not, check the various sites for new ones.
