: *** I am facing same problem. I changed CMOS setting for my fdd to 1.44 MB, 3.5". Received
: General Error Reading Drive A, Error on Int 24, etc.
: Tried MSD. Shows me that I have a 5.25" ffd at Disk Drive A:.
: Changed IDE controller card. No luck. Changed fdd, still no luck.
: Any solution ? Please e-mail me at kgteo@singnet.com.sg
I also have an AST Advantage 486 dx2 66mhz 8M RAM--running Windows95. It showed that I had a 5.25" A: drive where previously I had a functioning 3.5" A: drive. Bought PC-cillin anti-virus CD-ROM disk and on its pre-scan it detected a virus called "ANTIEXE". Haven't been able to remove virus because PC-cillin won't install with a virus existing in memory. Can't boot up using floppy A: as directions ask for. Please e-mail solution if you have one. Thanks!
