I just noticed that some of my file names have turned blue. I thought at first I had a virus so i ran virus scan. I had nothing on my machine. Has anyone ever had this and does anyone know what i can do? Thanks so much.

The name of the file turns blue when you encypt a folder.

Try this, open up any folder, go to tools>folder options>view[scroll down]>enable or disable 'Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color'

Encrypted file names are green.
Compressed file names are blue.

Jennifer you have nothing to worry about. If a file isn't used after a certain amount of days (I'm thinking either 30 or 50 days, not sure though) windows will compresse it to save some space.

Hope this helps,
Sandman
