Hey GUYS.You're not alone.I'm not an expert on computers so your help will be greatly appreciated.I was using a file-sharing program(bit-torrent to be exact) and when i was dling amusic album my antispyware alerted me that it found a virus and the system should be rebooted. After rebooting i found an error message saying that due to the lack of wininet.dll this program cannot be executed. Now i cant use IE and i can't even have access to My Computer and My Documents.I tried to dl wininet.dll from dll-files.com but because it came with a zip file i couldn't extract the winzip file because of wininet.dll!I went to microsoft's website but what i found there was NOT wininet.dll but a file named wininet.dll debug file which i don't know what it means.İ dloaded it anyway to the system32 folder anyway but nothing changed. Is there no other way than to reinstall the vista?
