My mom got another virus on her computer. It has TrojanBHO files and says to download trojandownloader.xs and I really need help, but everytime I post my message it's deleted the next day? Is that because you guys just helped me not that long ago? I hope I'm not annoying anyone but my mom left her firewall off from the last time I helped her and got another virus and I can't get anyone to help me. Is there a reason my messages keep being deleted? Is there a different website I can go to? Thanks
I am so confused. I don't know where I'm supposed to post my question. I really wish I could get someone to help me though. She definately has a virus, it took over her desktop and won't let her open taskmanager and there's lots of pop ups. What am I supposed to do or where am I supposed to post a question? I went to the website the first guy told me to go to and posted my question and then when I went to look at my question it said it was no longer a website or something. I don't get it, they helped me last time? So confused
hey missmysoldier28, if you state your problem and then wait for someone to read your post, they MAY request some logs. That is how this forum works. It looks like not too many logs are getting read here in the past few days.
So when you just threw the logs onto your post by ignoring the forum rules and warnings, the members just shun the post....hopefully that explains it well for you.
You can also paste your hjt logs into: http://hijackthis.de/ and then google the questionable results to see if they are safe to delete. That might get you on your way a bit quicker. I myself don't feel qualified enough to request your logs.
Ohhh, my bad, I thought when you said you're not supposed to post unless it's requested I thought you meant posting a message. I never had read the part that says not to post your hijackthis log. Sorry about that. I guess I'll go post a new message without the logs. Thanks.
