This guide will show you how simple it is to join our ever-expanding community and get all the support you need, completely free of charge. Let's get started.

Step 1 Locate the "Ask a Question" button in the top right corner of this page. For your convenience, this button is on every page on the site. Click it any time to ask a question!




Step 2Choose how you want to ask a question. Computing.Net allows you to ask questions either by Product or Category. Most users will want to ask a question by Product. However, if you have a very specialized question, you might want to look at the expanded category options in the Category question section.


Step 3If you don't have an account, or aren't signed in, don't worry. You will be asked to either create an account or sign in after you fill out your question. Your account will be activated immediately, and the system won't forget anything you entered either!


Step 4Fill in all the fields. If you don't understand what the tags field is, you may leave this blank. However, all other fields are very helpful in getting your problem solved quickly.


Step 5Click Post Message to put your message on the site. If you don't have an account, the system will aid you in creating one. Its as easy as that!


Step 6Now that your message has been posted, look in the right sidebar. There you will see your message listed. This will allow you to easily find it in the future.
