My company is paying for my DSL internet in my home because I sometimes work out of my own home. Are the websites i visit traceable back to the corporate office. I have a work computer and home computer. My home computer is connected however i dont log on to the system as i do for my work computer. Will they be able to trace my steps from my home computer? Thanks in advance for the help.

It is possible but it would require the co-operation of the ISP and they are unlikely to provide it without a court order.

However, if you were to start browsing on your works computer which I assume is connected via a VPN then that would be a different matter.

I wouldn't worry about it.

If you pay the bill and your company then pays you back would be a different deal. It would be your service. It most likely would require a court order to view.

Your company ought to have a policy. Better read that.

Might want to re-consider your choices of web sites. Seems sites of questionable morals also seem to have spyware, virus and such.

I doubt it very much. The ISP will tell the company to enforce their own user policy, it's not their job to do it.

Providing the OP is not doing anything illegal the ISP will not devote the time and resources to track a single users surfing habits even is it is a business user value added service.

Data is a product to be sold these days, not a bother.

If I was worried, I'd pay the lousy $20 a month for my own DSL. I'd be able to pay that cause I didn't get fired for doing something stupid.
