Using Outlook Express 6. I used to be able to compose a new message (inserting pictures and setting fonts etc with a discaimer at the bottom) and then save it to my desktop as a template so it was ready for just double clicking and using if you know what I mean - if I try now to "Save" the composed message to my desktop, it saves although it saves as a message which I would then have to forward to send it. I hope this makes sense! I think it may have been possible to do in Outlook Express 5 but not in version 6.. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance. (not into the idea of using "stationery" BTW!!!)
Here's a fix
Open Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
-- SOFTWARE
---- Microsoft
------ Internet Explorer
-------- Main
---------- FeatureControl
On the Edit menu, point to New, then click Key and copy/paste this name exactly as shown:
FEATURE_HONOR_XUNSENT_IN_FILE
On the Edit menu, point to New, then click DWORD Value and name it msimn.exe.
Double-click msimn.exe and change the value to 1.
To make this easier you can download this small <a href="<b>"> to make the change for you. Just save the file to your desktop, right click on the file and select Merge.
