.PPTX is the format used in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. If you have this software program on your computer you can open files with .PPTX extensions like any other PowerPoint file.
If you don't and you use earlier versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, you can either:
1) upgrade to Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
or
2) Download a Compatibility Pack from Microsoft:
