I bought a DVD-RW drive and went to install it and it is a SATA not IDE. IS there a converter or adapter I can get to hook this up without havingf to return it?
If you bought the drive locally why not just return it. How much did you pay and what drive did you buy. You could buy an IDE DVD burner for $30/35 shipped online.
It is a Samsung/Toshiba Superwriter I got off of pricewatch and it was only 29.00 but my wife threw away the box so i can't return it. I hope this is the right thing cause I just ordered it.
