I don't mean to be a complainer but these latest ads that squeeze the actual text area of by 22" wide screen down to about 4" is a little too much. That and the fact I can't seem to move my cursor anywhere without activating something.

Try using this:

http://www.flashswitch.com

I turn off flash ads when I'm on this site and it has helped a lot. You still get ads but not the flash ones.

You have to exit Internet Explorer to change it's state.
It only works for Internet Explorer.

Hey,

Can you send me a screenshot of what you mean? I assume you are talking about the Dell ad. It shouldn't be doing that. Even when you roll over it, it doesn't expand that much... What browser are you using?

Thanks,
Justin

I am using IE6 and the Dell ad doubles in width when waved over.
It is not in the way here.

I think it may be due to the resolution I am using. I have a 22" widescreen @ 1680x1050. Whenever that Dell ad is showing it pushes the text to the left, making the text column about half the width. I PMed Justin a screenshot and he is handling it. Right now all is fine, but no Dell ad up there. That is interesting, as I was typing this the Dell as appeared and DIDN'T squeeze the text. Minimized IE and when I maximixed it the text was squeezed.

Hi,

I just spoke with my ad people. That ad should no longer be showing up in IE6 browsers.

Thanks for letting me know about the problem. I hope the solution worked :)

Justin
