Hi

seems theres a load of issues with vista and older games, yes it does look complicated , use the bat file to install, (note max payne 1 not 2!)
from the readme file:

INSTALL: Unzip files to your maxpayne game directory (folder) and run MaxBatch.bat

STEAM USERS: unzip to your steam\steamapps\common\maxpayne folder, run MaxBatch.bat

TO UNINSTALL: Run MaxBatch.bat again to restore files to original.

NOTE: You will notice sox complaining alot about eof, but the resulting files are fine
extracted files should be

maxbatch.bat
rasmaker.exe
readme.txt
rl.dll
sox.exe
