Really a big problem... I've had no luck fixing despite lots of work trying.

Okay, every other time I start some games( mostly HL2) I get a BSOD that says the most likely fault is win32k.sys and I get a "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA" The STOP thing was at 0x0000050 or so.

Now, I already ran memtest86+ at 3 times, once for 1 pass, second time 2 passes, third time 9 passes(this was all on different days) And NEVER got any error at all.

Here's the second problem, whenever I get to a certain part in HL2, the part where it says "loading," will crash with a memory reference error. This is really ****ing pissing me off!!!! This NEVER happened before and I bough this PC to game, not f'n going on forums all day....

What anti-v program are you running? Could it be AVG? Try disabling it while gaming.

Scroll about 1/2 way down the following page & read under the heading,
"Stop 0x00000050 or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA":

Also, try updating your drivers; video, specifically.

There could also be something wrong with your HL2. Thankfully with Steam, you can delete the game and re-download it.

I had a similar problem with Episode One. Try disabling the anti-v....

I've tried everything (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=278) except underclocking again (It worked with it before!)

Clearer info. BSODs seem to have stopped for good. (I really hope so)
