DOS FAQ / Hard Drive Management Problems

Question:

Fixing corrupt partitions.

Answer:

Save the file Killhdd.bat to a floppy boot disk with the program DEBUG.EXE on it. Boot up with the floppy disk and run Killhdd.bat to remove all data on the 1st hard disk on your computer. You can edit the file to change which disk it will clear... This will remove everything from your disks, including the errors. One you've done that, just reboot and use your hard drive as if it were a brand new hard drive.
