: disk boot failure results from not having a disk too boot from when you turn on your pc. If you are trying to boot from your hard drive, you should make sure all of the cables are plugged in properly and completely. Then check in the bios settings to make sure the hard drive is setup correctly in there. if you still have problems, let me know.

: : on turn the pc on the following appears:
: : "disk boot failure, please insert system and press enter"

: : i have run "fdisk /mbr" to find out that there is "no fixed disk present" and i`m unable to access drive c:\ which is rather fustrating !? ? ?!?!!?

: : Please assist in recommending a program which could rewrite my boot sector to i can gain access.
