With the limited amount of provided information can only suggest consulting the digital camera's manual.
Did you install the software before connecting the camera to the PC or connect it before installing the software?
It is possible that if you connected the camera first then you will need to manually uninstall the software and then start over.
The manual will state the correct procedure.
