When i raise my cpu frequency. My multiplier automaticly lowers. 200 *9 =1800 (stock) if i try 300 *9 the 9 automatic becomes a 6 keeping it at (stock) 1800 mhz. It's frustating. I'm using cpu id to check the frequency and mulitiplier. What could the cause?  Also, the manual shows a cpu ratio control but i'm guessing that maybe its for unlocked cpu's because, it's not there.link to the manual:http://www.biostar.com.tw/upload/Manual/P4M90-M7A_P4M89-M7B_0611C_BQ.exe

Manually set the CPU multiplier, CPU freq, CPU voltage, RAM freq, RAM timings, RAM voltage, lock the PCI-E at 100MHz, disable Spread Spectrum. Keep the CPU:DRAM freq ratio at 1:1

I don't find a option to lock the multiplier. It shows a option in the manual but not in the bios.

I might end up emailing biostar.

I found out from Tom's. Speed stepping is what was causing my multiplier to fluctuate. I ran orthos and my e2160 at load runs 300*9 2.7 and at idle 300*6 1800.

I'm really impressed. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this chip.
