Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stark warning targeting 18 prominent American technology corporations with operations throughout the Middle East. The ultimatum, scheduled to take effect on April 1, 2026, appeared on a Guard-affiliated Telegram channel published in Farsi.
The comprehensive roster encompasses industry leaders across multiple sectors: Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Nvidia, Oracle, IBM, Intel, Cisco, HP, Dell, Palantir, JPMorgan, Tesla, GE, Boeing, Spire Solutions, and the UAE-headquartered artificial intelligence firm G42.
According to the Guard’s statement, operations would commence at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, according to Tehran’s clock — corresponding to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Personnel at these corporations received warnings to evacuate their premises immediately as a precautionary measure.
“From now on, for every assassination, an American company will be destroyed,” the post read.
The announcement follows military strikes conducted jointly by American and Israeli forces against Iran on February 28. Iranian authorities contend these technology corporations maintain direct connections to military and intelligence operations aimed at Iranian interests.
Previous Attacks on Amazon Infrastructure
These warnings follow earlier incidents. On March 1, Iranian forces struck two Amazon Web Services facilities located in the United Arab Emirates. A third installation in Bahrain sustained damage from debris. The IRGC accepted responsibility, declaring the operations were designed to reveal how these facilities enable military and intelligence activities.
The strikes triggered widespread disruptions affecting numerous applications and digital platforms throughout the UAE.
Tasnim, an Iranian news organization with documented connections to the IRGC, published an earlier communication identifying 30 precise locations across the Middle East as potential targets. Dubai and Tel Aviv contained the majority of these sites. Tel Aviv’s listed locations included Palantir, Amazon, and Microsoft offices, along with Nvidia’s engineering and research facility.
Tehran’s Rationale for Corporate Targeting
Iranian officials assert these technology companies supply critical infrastructure supporting American and Israeli military capabilities. Facilities operated by Oracle, IBM, and Google in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Abu Dhabi were specifically identified for their purported assistance to “military entities.”
Amazon and Google secured a $1.2 billion government contract from Israel in 2021 through Project Nimbus, delivering essential technological infrastructure to the nation, as documented in a 2025 United Nations investigation.
The identical report indicated Microsoft, Amazon, and Google provide Israel with “virtually government-wide access” to their cloud computing and artificial intelligence platforms. IBM faced accusations of conducting training programs for Israeli defense and intelligence officials.
The US Department of War granted Oracle an $88 million agreement to incorporate cloud software systems with Air Force operations.
Intel responded to the threat, saying: “The safety and wellbeing of our team is our number one priority. We are taking steps to safeguard and support our workers and facilities in the Middle East.”
Microsoft, Google, and JPMorgan refused to provide statements.
President Trump indicated on Tuesday his expectation for American military personnel to withdraw from Iran within “two to three weeks.” The White House verified Trump would deliver a national address regarding the Iran conflict on Wednesday evening.
Casualties have reached over 3,400 Iranian civilians and military members since the conflict’s inception, alongside 13 American service personnel. Regional nations including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait have experienced more than 3,000 drone and missile strikes combined.
