Zonealarm Slows Down Startup

My ZA pro slows my startup into win, and it takes about 40 seconds to detect my ip settings. is there anything i can do to speed it up?

Look through the event logs in the ZoneAlarm and find out which port or whatever it needs to access that is causing the slowdown. Once you allows the port, or program, or whatever to do what it needs, things will speed up....
