hi was using xp pro on my new computer and was advised to install zonealarm.. after installing i found i could not upload pictures onto ebay(im aseller), so decided to uninstall zonealarm, now i cannot get onto the net/outlook..says rundell32 not responding, and page cannot be displayed..is there anything i can do.. only installed it because my home page kept changing and someone said install zonealarm !but now i cant use my new p.c im on my old one right now..really need some help,but im not that good with computers,so if its too complicated i have no chance..i did uninstall with zonealarms software and was told it was successfully removed..? thanks for any help..sue

If you feel comfortable, go to the Start button, Run, and type in Regedit. In the Registry editor, go to Edit, Find now and type in ZoneAlarm (no space) and delete every entry refering to Zonealarm. Reboot. Be VERY careful, as working in the Registry can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Larry

sue: some ideas to try; 1. run a full system antivirus scan. 2. run a spyware program. 3. clean out unnecessary apps and files, especially any New.net or NewDot.Net files. 4. if the error still persists, open Control Panel and show hidden files so that a search for rundll32.exe will show results. you should find copies in C;\Windows\System32 and in C:\I386 (if that folder installed from the CD cab files). if found in the cab files, copy and paste to C:\Windows\System32
