Everyone's getting in on the antispyware bandwagon. Latest update from ZA Pro includes spyware blocker and a system scan that can be scheduled to run just like Msoft Antispyware beta. What with Msoft, ZA Pro, Spybot S&D, and Norton all running I'm reminded of the old joke about the irishman who wore three condoms. To be Sure, to be sure, to be sure.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

lol,couldn't agree more.
over the years i have used most of the top brand names of av, firewall, antispy etc.
i now am at the stage were I've had enough of av programs for various reasons. i now just do a online scan every so often and do a scan with trojan hunter 4.2, but i always have a firewall running.
I've not had a virus detected for the last year, usually false positives.
some may call me crazy but i now all the dangers,so i don't need anybody preaching.

I didn't install the ZA update because it said I had to stop using any other anti-virus programming.
Personally I like Panda Antivirus so I'll continue to do the same as martin 16v. Firewall; antivirus and once a week I go to Trend-Micro and run HouseCall.

Hey if all of you want to risk everything you have fine, but the idea today of running without an antivirus, better not appeal to "newbies" and shame on all of you for even suggesting that, because they will hear you and do it.
Personally, though I have True Image and Ghost image files weekly to return to, and I ran as you do at times years ago, I saw the folly of my ways and wouldn't dream of entering the internet without the very best paid antivirus program, because I value what I have, and I value my time wasted searching for solutions to virus problems, which I make a living on during the day with "OP" machines.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not about to switch any of them off. My system runs just nicely and I'm sure if I try to uninstal either ZA, MS Antispy, or god forbid Norton, then I'm sure to trash it.
