zone alarm warnings

recently downloaded new version of itunes. when began to use it for the first time, zone alarm posted a warning message "itunes is trying to act as a server" do you want to allow this. i said no. what does this mean 'trying to act as a server'? am i limiting itunes features by saying no? thanks

hi itunes connects to the net to retrieve info of your music cddb, so turn it off if its annoying. iTunes > Preferences and check Connect to Internet. zonealarm 'deny' puts a red cross against the internet access box, you can manually remove this by right click 'allow'. either way should stop info gathering,oops i mean retrieval

I never allow it to be a "server". How the heck do I know who I am sending what info to..... Maybe paranoid, but I lock up all server stuff. I allow it "access" though.
