Hi.

I have a zip problem.
When i download zip files, i get two options.
Either to store them on disk or open them directly.
When i store them on disk, they work perfectly.
But when i try to open them directly from the net, then they are always corrupt ?
Does anybody have a solution on how to solve this problem.
I've never had this problem before, but just recently.
No problem for at least 5 years until now.
I'm using windows xp home edition and i'm using the integrated zip compressor in windows xp.
I've tried winrar & winzip, but it's still with the same problem ?

Please help,

Hellfire.

In advance, thx :-)

I think the server that has the file, has to set it up to allow the unzipping, however the option is always there for you to choose even if the server doesn't allow that service.

You should download a compressed file and scan it before you open it anyway.

Here is a link that may have some interest to you. It addresses the issue of viewing a zip file without opening it.
