Please help. My laptop was infected with a virus so I had to reformat winxp. I installed the latest windows update and antivirus, and everything is working fine. But I couldn't upload anything on YouTube anymore. YT would let me upload using multi-video uploader but not via single file upload. I don't like multivideo uploader coz it's so slow. I checked any firewall setting and it is turned off. What could possibly go wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks>

Have you tried using different internet browsers (IE, Mozilla, Opera)? Do you have the flash video plugin installed on your computer?

here is the link ro mozilla web site.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

it's a free and quite convenient firefox product, try to upload files under this browser.
about flv plugins: if you can view youtube videos, you have this plugin. if not, you will see the automatical installation link.

it always says connecting but it never connects. unlike before that i see the progress of my upload: 1%.... so on and so forth.

i tried to upload using multivideo uploader just to check if i have connection problem, but it's working fine.

frankly, i haven't had problems of this kind
but one more idea is to ask your internet provider
maybe your internet is too slow and you set up your connection wrongly
