Ok...my computer is really messed up right now I hope anyone here can help me fix it x__X
Ok first off, when I turn my computer on normal mode, the wallpaper is set as "Warning! Your Computer has been Infected with Spyware!" I know that its probably some spyware trying to pull money out of me but heres the catch, after about 2 minutes after I log on, my computer restarts...
I've also tried to boot my computer through Safe Mode by pressing F8 but after I choose to run it in Safe Mode, my computer decides to restart on me yet again.
So basically no matter what I do, the computer restarts... :(

I know that before this starting happening, windows security alert kept giving me messages about Trojan-Spy infections? Maybe that has something to do with that.

Anyone mind helping me please? :(

(Btw, I'm on my old computer to post this message lol)

Go to Ultimate Boot CD for Windows. Download and burn it to a CD. You can run various tests by booting up the CD, such as testing the memory, spyware and virus scans, and checking the health of the harddrive. There are excellent tools there for removing viruses and spyware, such as Super Anti Spyware Terminator. You would have to make sure that your bios is set to boot from the cd drive before the hard drive.

This might be worth a try:
After you boot up, immediately start msconfig. Go to the startup tab and deselect everything in it. Then reboot and see if it helped.

See event viewer logs, there might be a reason for the reboot. Sometimes services stopping cause that.

Wallpaper should not say that!

Consider clean install. I have never had much luck trying to remove virus's.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

You're right in that the wallpaper is definitely a scammy
piece of malware trying to lure you in to splashing out on
a fix for a problem that it creates itself. Don't buy in to
that. The malware can also be responsible for causing
your computer to restart, and it could be working in
tandem with a more serious virus.

Either way, if you have enough time to get to MSCONFIG
before it restarts, you can do as was mentioned above and
deselect all of the unknown applications that you don't
need running from boot. The problem could be however
that the malware is opening itself, no matter what you set.
In that case, a restore or repair job will be in order.

to kx5m2q,
this computer is old so it doesn't have cd-rewritable... =( is there possibly any other way to get that program on my other computer?

to aegis,
how do you run msconfig and deselect everything in the startup tab? sorry as you can tell im not very good at this stuff =(

to jefro,
yea..i cant even get there, since when I start up normally, its pretty slow b/c of the spywares I guess, so it just restarts really quick :(

You could order the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows if you want to wait for it.

(edit) Oops correction

Try opening My Computer > c:\Windows > Pchealth > Helpctr > Binaries and you should see msconfig there. Double click on it.

I'll see if I can find a fix for the missing 'Run' box.

If and when you get your system running again, there appears to be a fix for the missing 'Run' box. Check # 152 on the left at:

Restart your computer in Safe Mode with Networking by tapping F8 as the computer starts.

Then download HiJackThis from here:
http://www.download.com/Trend-Micro...

And post a logfile.

Sounds like your computer is completely and utterly shagged, but there is probably a method or two we can do to help.

Medion MIM 2080
Toshiba T2130CT
Macintosh Performa 450

All working wonderfully.
