In the support area of Dell's web site, there is a place to enter the PC's Service Tag number (either on the back or the side of the case). Enter the number, pick your operating system, and a list of drivers will be displayed for download.

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD Athlon X2 4800+
2GB RAM, X1900GT
2x37GB WD Raptors, RAID 1
1x250GB WD Storage

You are on the right path, they need the drivers loaded. Email dell support and ask them. That is what I would do if I couldn't located the drivers specifically on the dell cd or on their web page for my model.

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

Reinstall chipset drivers. You can download
them from dell. The chipset drivers from dell have your Ethernet and your Smbus drivers. I think windows update may have
installed an update for your Smbus. I just
had the same problem with a dell c840.
to be safe I would download all drivers and
updates from dell.

If all else fails, google "everest home edition". It is a utility to give you info on your components. There is a spot in the to scan your PCI devices, this will help you in your quest for drivers (If you have no luck on the dell site anyways).

Its inside the computer?!
