First of all, im not sure whether i've even classified this post in the right section.

Anyways, this has happened on 2 occasions recently.
I would be happily chatting with multiple contacts in a YM conference (not video or call conference, just typing-chatting) and suddenly they dont see me.
I can still type msgs like normal, and i CAN see it, but they all cant.
I can send msgs to my contacts separately, privately. But no one sees me in the conference window. My name is still there, whatever I type just doesnt show to all of them.
Its effin frustrating. Anyone know? Please?
Yahoo not helping much (I have to fill a form now? oh geez)

ps, re-signing in or restarting my PC doesnt help.

In this case I think Yahoo is your friend... it's not really an XP problem is it. No doubt someone will help you though.

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

Yahoo video is not that great of a thing...and any problems with it are with them. More than likely though (as they like to pass the buck) they will try to sell you the idea that it is your camers software that is causing the problem. This is really common place with them. I will state that at one time out of 6 that i am aware of...they(yahoo) was right and it was camera issues.

In which case the driver for the camera needed to be updated (actually rolled back to a privious driver as yahoo couldn't handle the new driver )
