Hi guys I am having a problem with some XVID files and am wondering if someone can give me a hand.

I have some xvid flies which are playing at half speed. I have checked them with Gspot and all seems to be normal, fps, audio stream, everything but when I play it it is running at half speed (with no sound).

I have tried running it with different players but still cannot solve it. The only way that I can watch it at normal speed is playing doubling up the speed in classic media player but still no sound.

It seems only a handful of xvid files are like this, I have the most updated codec installed already so I dont really know what went wrong. It played at correct speed in nero players and quicktime but also with no sound....someone help!!

Try uninstalling XVID, then reinstalling an older version. That worked with my XVID issues.
